Dire House Cat

In honor of my appearance on the DM's Block podcast, I finally got around to statting out the Dire House Cat we chatted about. Enjoy! And may your commoners be terrified.

Dire House Cat

This feline creature the size of a large dog stalks the room, bony ridges spread across its shoulders and spine quietly grind into one another as they chafe. It flexes a paw full of wicked looking claws before drawing itself up to pounce.

Dander Attack: The Dire House Cat is constantly shedding dander that can cause allergic reactions in most humanoid creatures that draw close to it. Any humanoid creature (that breathes air) within 30 ft of the Dire House Cat must make a fortitude save (DC 13) or be sickened for one minute: their eyes watering, noses running as they sneeze uncontrollably. Any creature that fails by 5 or more is also incapacitated for 1 round by hacking coughs. A creature only needs to make a single save, and can only be effected by the Dander Attack once in a 24 hour period.
